Case Study
NGO focused on violence against women
Strong and Proud is an NGO that supports women affected by violence. Focused on Mindset, Role models, Leadership. My role was to help improve the organization’s branding and communication across different platforms, ensuring the message was clear and easily understood. The goal was to expand the NGO’s reach both locally and globally.

8-Day Global Campaign for Women’s Day Week
As Marketing Lead, I played a key role in launching an 8-day campaign to celebrate Women’s Day Week 2025.
The campaign featured 7 women from around the world, each sharing her personal story of confidence and overcoming challenges.
We left a blank space in the video for the 8th woman- symbolizing the 8th woman is unseen, yet ever-present is every woman writing her own story, finding her voice, and shaping her path. This space is hers. This space is yours.
In addition, our team organized a special event in Berlin, where we invited tech women to build a supportive community by sharing their personal stories of confidence.
We also organized a run and walk event, encouraging people to come together to show support for women everywhere.
The campaign used photos, videos, and quotes shared across social media, driving conversation and engagement around women’s empowerment.
Branding and communication across all platforms.
Problem Statement:
The NGO had different styles of messaging and visuals on each platform, which made it hard for people to understand and connect with its mission. This also limited its ability to grow, reach more people, and be seen as a strong leader in its space.
Solution:
Created a clear and consistent way of communicating across all platforms. Made the messaging simple and meaningful for both local and global audiences. Designed easy-to-edit templates so the team could manage content on their own. Focused on building a stronger social media presence to reach more people and support the NGO’s mission more effectively.
Brand Consistency
I conducted a comprehensive comparative analysis of the brand’s visual identity, evaluating:
Logo: Ensured the symbolic representation of a mother and child looking up at a star was communicated consistently across all platforms.
Color Palette and Fonts: Standardized the brand’s colors and fonts to ensure consistency and professionalism across the website, social media, and print materials.
Design System: Developed adaptable templates for social media posts that could be easily edited by the team, ensuring consistency while being user-friendly.
Tactics and Execution
Interviews: Team facilitated interviews with leadership figures in tech and psychiatry to gather actionable insights for content that resonates with leadership and vulnerable communities.
Pillars of Communication: Developed messaging pillars—Leadership, Mindset, and Role Models—through unique designs for each pillar, making content memorable.
Cultural Sensitivity: Utilized Spanish language in content with English captions, maximizing accessibility and preserving cultural elements for a global audience.
Outreach & Networking
Presented the NGO as a speaker at Mercury Toastmasters Berlin to reach a new audience and attract potential supporters.
Attended Tech conferences to connect with leadership figures and gather insights on supporting immigrant women in leadership.
As a team we targeted different events groups to create a networking ecosystem.
Collaboration with the IT Team
Worked closely with the IT team to ensure the website adhered to the new design standards and had a user-friendly content management system.
Proposed an "About Us" page with a story about a young girl overcoming adversity, aligning with the NGO's values and logo. This concept is in progress and aims to connect emotionally with visitors.
Inconsistent branding and communication across channels.
Lack of professional image in interviews and content creation.
Need for increased outreach to promote the NGO’s mission.
